In this weeks Sunday live video Brian and Ryan talked to Todd Sepulveda about his new eBook “The Preparedness Community’s Guide to A Micro Biz and Increasing Your Finances” and the forums he put together.
Todd was our first guest here at TPE talking about the basics of prepping, and this time he came back on to talk about earning a little extra money for prepping, and some ways to get it done. This video is about an hour long, but it’s packed with great ideas to earn extra income for prepping.
While there are a number of ways that we can save a few bucks here and there, we cant escape the fact the prepping is going to cost money. We can look for deals, we can follow a budget, and there are even DIY projects we can do, but everything costs money.
This is exactly why Todd created the eBook and the forums, to help people figure out ideas to make a few extra dollars by creating a side hustle. The book itself has 56 ways to create a micro Biz, and the forums give you an opportunity to interact with preppers trying to do the same thing as you.
Micro Biz Ideas
These days it’s easier than ever to create a small side business than ever. In the video the guys went over some ideas and examples that you could use to earn a few extra dollars for prepping, here are a few of those ideas…
- Wedding/Graduation Photography
- Handyman Services
- Selling Arts and Crafts Online
- Virtual Assistant
- Teaching Classes
- Craig’s List
- Build an Etsy Store
- Be an Uber Driver
- Writing Transcripts for Bloggers
There are many more ideas in the eBook, and the forums give you an opportunity to ask questions, and get suggestions other “prepperpreneurs” (yes that’s a word…I just made it up)
Preppers Helping Preppers
Another reason Todd decided to create this product exclusively for preppers is because most preppers would rather help other preppers than give their money to big box stores. I would personally rather give my money to someone who knows what I want and need, than someone who thinks they know, or just adds the word “tactical” to their product.
Basically, preppers know what preppers want. We understand the ins and outs of preparedness, and all the small details that make a big difference.
Todd has made this so affordable that it’s almost a no brainer. For just $6.49 you can get the eBook and access to the forums. While this is still fairly new (at the time this article was written) but Brian and I have joined the forums, and can’t wait to see where it goes.
The forums are not just for talking about Micro Biz ideas, Todd has also set them up so people can discuss any preparedness topic. While it seems like pulling teeth to get people off of Facebook, the great thing about forums is they don’t get censored like everything seems to be these days.
If you do join (and I hope you do) stop by and say hi to Brian and I. We have been doing this “prepperpreneur” thing for a while now and look forward to offering any advice we can…hopefully good advice 🙂
